Setting objectives

   

Good objectives are the starting point of any performance management system. Clear and realistic objectives are also essential to developing people. Motivational objectives can help individuals and teams succeed.

Objective setting is an important module on several of Crossroads programmes. It can cover :

  • SMART objectives : The essential characteristics of a good objective. How to create them. Aligning company, team and individual objectives. Practice in agreeing them with team members.
  • Motivational objectives : Using objectives to engage individuals and teams.
  • Cascading strategic objectives, using a process such as Balanced Scorecard.
